Retail Velocity’s rebranding reflects its growth and commitment to improving collaboration between suppliers and retailers.
ANN ARBOR, Mich. (April 13, 2022) – Retail Velocity, the pioneer and industry leader in consumer demand and supply data management, reporting and analytics, announced today it has completed an extensive rebranding effort in response to accelerated company growth and a renewed corporate mission led by the July 2021 appointment of John Rossi, an experienced consumer packaged goods (CPG) and retail industry executive, to Chief Executive Officer.
The rebranding, which includes a top-to-bottom redesign of the company’s website, visual identity and go-to-market messaging, is part of the many changes Rossi has implemented at Retail Velocity. Since joining the company in March 2021, Rossi has expanded the company’s product and services offerings, significantly increased its staff and grown its client base.

The comprehensive rebrand includes a new company logo, color palette, typography, imagery and company tagline: Reliable Data at the Speed of Now. The tagline emphasizes the company’s expertise at providing consumer brands with daily retail point-of-sale and inventory data at the most granular level to enable them to generate actionable insights. The new logo symbolizes continuous collaboration, data integrity and harmonization and business growth while the new brand colors represent profitability, harmony, intelligence and leadership.
With more than 30 years of experience building and leading diverse teams that drove digital transformation, process improvements and profitable growth for large U.S.-based and global CPGs, retail, software and consulting companies, Rossi brings a wealth of expertise to the role and the industry insight, leadership and technology experience needed to drive long-term company success.
Rossi succeeds Jeff Beckett, Retail Velocity cofounder and CEO since 1997. Beckett will continue to serve as chairman of the company’s board of directors, providing counsel to Retail Velocity’s leadership team.

In his previous executive leadership roles at Capgemini, Wipro, Plan4Demand and Clarkston Consulting, Rossi developed and executed go-to-market strategies for, and led, consumer goods, retail, hospitality, distribution and transportation consulting groups and verticals.
